Small Gallery 斯磨畫廊

Supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and SOAS University of London, Small Gallery is proud to lead the emerging artist initiative (2023-2025). This initiative will create opportunities for 3 to 5 solo or double solo exhibitions – to be held at Small Gallery – featuring artists of the younger generation. Online exhibitions might be considered under extreme circumstances.

 

This initiative pays particular attention to UK-based artists who have a connection with Asian art and culture. We aim to promote the work of female and LGBTQIA+ artists and encourage transmedia, interdisciplinary experiments in the realm of contemporary art. We especially welcome artworks that can potentially be staged in the garden of Small Gallery during the summer.

 

Each exhibiting artist will receive an artist fee.
