Rebecca E. Miller is a London and San Francisco based multidisciplinary artist, researcher, and educator. Having been awarded a BFA in painting in 1998 from the San Francisco Art Institute she went on the earn an MA in Media and Communications in 2010 and complete a PhD in Art and Computational Technology from the Computing department in 2020 from Goldsmiths University of London. Previously she instructed digital and fine arts at the Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View California, Lectured at University of Plymouth UK, Nanjing University of the Arts and currently teaches digital and fine arts at Community Focus Inclusive arts in London. She also designs and leads community and socially engaged public art projects.
 

Rebecca’s artwork investigates the spaces where digital art and traditional art materials intersect. The tensions and energy that arise at this meeting point for her is a source of inspiration and discovery. The visual language of pattern and shape and colour; movement, geometry, symmetry, and space, is dominant in her compositions.
